Interesting twist in the life of Megan...

I got a call from Eric Williams on Saturday, asking me to call him back as soon as I could. I did, and to make a long story short, he asked if the FSB's could pull together a stage show for White Hart.

*blinks*

Umm. Err. Sure? Maybe? Seriously?

Apparently the JRF audition board was so tickled with my and Wendy's audition, that they want to see more of it, and they think we have what it takes to pull off a stage show. Not to mention, the budget for WH has been cut so much that they are now searching for stage acts they can get for a song, hah. But still...was nice to be asked.

I called Wendy to give her the news, and she giggled, and said for me to call Vicki. I did, and lo and behold, Vicki has been working on a stage act script, just for fun! So now Vicki's got her creative hat on, and is writing like mad, trying to pull together something that's workable for us to run with. Chris and Doug have also been written into the show, so it'd be a show with all 5 of us...complete bonus there.

I have no idea if this will really happen, but it's fun trying to get it to that point, and it was lovely to be asked. :)

In costume news, my coat still looks kind of Chinese, though not as Chinese as it did before the weekend. I slanted the edges of the front opening, and that helped a bit. I'm trying to wear it around the house as much as I can remember to, to break it in so it won't look as stiff.

In weight loss news....err...yeah, not gonna go there. Been eating way too much of the wrong things lately, and the scale knows. *sigh* Maybe after today (today is Brenna's birthday) I can get back on track and try to get back into the 160's. Maybe.

No, definitely. This is crazy. Just do it, Megan.
