The weatherman said we were supposed to get up to 18 inches of snow today. I think we might have gotten like, three. The day's not done yet, but I'm sadly disappointed, as I was hoping for something truly exciting to look at, outside.

The other day I ended up spending the night at work. This was...like...Thursday night, I think? I found out around 4pm that I was needed to come back and do some testing after I got out of class. My class is scheduled until 10pm, but the teacher never keeps us that long, so I got back to the office at around 9:15. I was done with testing around 10:30, and since I was on call the next day (which means that if any testing needs to be done from 12:00 am that day until 11:59 that night, you're the one who gets to do it), and they'd planned to migrate a bunch of stuff, and wanted me to be ready to test at 3am, I knew that me getting home, getting to bed, getting up and showering and being back by 3am, really just wasn't going to happen.

So I found a sleeping bag and a blanket and a pillow, and crashed on the floor in the DIO's office for a few hours. Woke up at 3:30 am, and wandered out to find out why the migration guys hadn't woken me up to test yet. I ended up not doing any testing until around 5am, and got done around 7. In the meantime, I got my silly report done and distributed, and then went home to crash.

Woo, woo. That was a way long day. I went out with my friend Jess on Friday night, and had to be in class at 9:15 yesterday morning, so that was 2 nights with very little sleep (and yes, I know that one was my own fault but after a week like last week, I really just needed some time to defuse and hang out.) Last night came along, and I went to sleep at like 9:30. Yay...got a good night's sleep (which ended when the cats decided to perform their own rendition of Chicago on my chest at 6am), and now it's pretending to be scary and snowy out, but it's not really. And the neighbor kid is over, and he and Connor are bickering, and I'm writing in my blog in order to avoid going and doing my homework. *sigh*

Okay, okay, I'm going to do my homework now. Bleh.
