Well, I'm gradually getting used to my new hair...with each shampoo, it's getting lighter and lighter, and I suspect that soon, it'll be back to the orangey-blonde that it seems to insist on being. Perhaps I should just make peace with that fact, and resign myself to being akin to a mango's guts forever.

Work's going okay...still pretty busy, and I'm striving to get through all the customer cases that have been sent to me by the end of the week. I really hate not being able to start each day with a clean slate. Plus, there are a ton of side projects that I really need to work on, and I don't feel okay about working on them when I know that there are customers out there who are just getting pissier by the day.

Oh, funny story...a lady called us to complain that someone had sent her tax return to her on the internet. At first, one might think, OH NO! How did her tax return get published out on the internet??? Never fear, gentle readers...the lady happened to use an internet-based program in which she worked with a tax pro OVER THE INTERNET. I dunno if she thought the tax pro would be dropping the return off at her house personally, or what, but DUH...these are the people I have to talk to every day. *sigh*

Speaking of tax returns, we went to have our return done last night...for the first time in a long time, we don't owe the Feds, hooray. We DO owe the state, but only about $140 or so, and we're getting over a grand back from the Feds, so all is good. Feels nice to not have to figure a way to scrape up a couple thousand to pay the government for once.

Ahh, okay...I better hit the workload for real. Talk at ya laters.
