So, the weekend was good...Jessica came over and we ripped the ugly old wallpaper out of my bedroom. No more scary partridges looking down at me while I sleep! :) On Sunday, my friend Doug came over and helped run a new phone line to the bedroom. He confirmed my thoughts about all the old wiring in the basement...most of it is junk and can simply be ripped out. So he spent about 4 hours playing with wires downstairs, and plans to come back at another time to replace the other existing phone cord, as it's been chewed through to expose the bare wires.

Soon, I might also take down the painted-over paper in the kitchen, since I'll be painting the bedroom anyway. As for a color, while I would love to actually use a COLOR, I'll probably stick with the same off-white that the rest of the house is, since it's not technically my house. Dunno...we'll see.

I found out on Friday what I'll be doing at work next year...more of the same, and then some. I'm getting more stuff to do, as if I need more stuff to do. But hopefully it won't be as intense as it looks on paper. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it'll be an easy transition.

Okay, got 50+ more cases in the queue this morning...time to get to work!
