This morning? 169.5. It hit me yesterday afternoon that I actually had TWO starches left, so I helped Chris eat a little box of animal cookies on the way home from work, and then had the salad/tea/garlic bread at IHOP last night as planned. I am so proud of myself -- I didn't even sneak a single fry from anyone's plate. :) I talked to another mom during Young Marines, and that mom told me last week that she is doing WW right now, so I asked her if she'd be willing to get up and exercise with me when it was time for the kids to gather in a circle and do their PT. She was willing, and another nearby mom was willing, too, so all three of us joined the circle and did the PT exercises to the best of our abilities. The kids were laughing as we struggled with some of them, but we were laughing too, so it was okay. :) I was just glad I didn't chicken out in getting involved. And the scale rewarded me this morning, hooray!
Today's menu is this:
B - half a serving of egg beaters with veggies added, LF frappuccino (1/2P, V, D, Fr)
S - bar, coffee (L)
L - leftover shepherds pie that I will dump the potatoes off of, which leaves me with ground beef and veggies (1/2P, V, S) and an apple (Fr)
S - bar, orange juice (L, 2Fr)
D - spaghetti made with ground turkey, salad, and some homemade Italian herb bread, so I know I'll be over in my starches, but hopefully only by one starch. (P, 2S, V, V, Fa)
I've got a movie to watch for class tonight, and I promise to do some crunches or other sort of mellow exercise during at least part of it. I took the stairs this morning (I work on the 3rd floor so there are enough stairs to get me a little winded but it's not as if it can really count as a workout), and MAYBE I'll go run them 2 more times during lunch. Maybe. Small steps for me right now. I will work on drinking all my water today (I didn't get it in last night and again only got 6 hours of sleep) and will try to get to bed by 10pm at the latest. :)
I doubt I'll see a drop on the scale tomorrow since I dropped 2 pounds since yesterday (water weight, I'm positive) and since I'm having pasta tonight, but if I can stay at 169.5, I'll count it as a win.
